A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed for the development of renewable energy and carbon credit pilot projects. To create databases and certifications for renewable energy generation and carbon credits. the FTI platform to be linked with the ERC Sandbox Phase 2 project, which is initiated and supported by ERC, will be a model in accordance with the guidelines for technology development and the application of renewable energy.
The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) have collaborated in the ERC Sandbox Phase 2 project, in which electricity company will allow project participants to purchase electricity across transmission lines and open for permission to experiment with new rules to try an appropriate approach that can drive Thai entrepreneurs to compete with foreign businesses.
The ERC Sandbox Phase 2 project encourages energy technology to be demonstrated in limited space and environment for setting up guidelines and regulation for energy innovations to be expanded in line with Green Innovation and Green Regulation.
