WHAUP develop a project on power production from solar energy


WHAUP has signed a Power Purchasing Agreement (PPA) for 4 Solar Farm projects with 85.4 MW of installed capacity in total and SCOD in 2029 -2030.

 

WHA Solar Co., Ltd (WHASL), a subsidiary of WHA Utilities and Power Public Company Limited (WHAUP), along with Stella Power One Co., Ltd. and Stella Power Two Co., Ltd.,  joint ventures owned by WHASL, have signed a power purchase agreement with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) for a period of 25 years for 4 Ground-Mounted Solar PV Projects (Solar Farm).


Detail of the project are follows:

  • Ground-Mounted Solar PV Project with a capacity of 35.4 MW, SCOD in 2029 developed by Stella Power One Co., Ltd.

  • 2 Ground-Mounted Solar PV Projects with capacity of 9.9 MW per project, SCOD in 2030 developed by WHASL

  • Ground-Mounted Solar PV Project with a capacity of 30.2 MW, SCOD in 2030 developed by Stella Power Two Co., Ltd.


Additionally, WHAUP has selected by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) to develop Ground-Mounted Solar PV Project with Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). the company will have a total installed capacity of all projects of 125.4 MW based on shareholding ratio.
