Phatthalung Town Municipality selected Prime Waste Management, Joint Venture between Prime Road Power Public Company Limited (PRIME) and their partner as a successful bidder for the Project on Production of Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) from Municipal Solid Waste (MSW).
The joint venture will invest, construct Integrated MSW Management System, i.e., sorting recyclable waste, combustible waste out for RDF manufacturing and organic waste for soil conditioners from 150 to 300 t/d of MSW and disposing residue in the landfill, if necessary, at the MSW disposal site of Phatthalung Town Municipality.
The project will handle both daily fresh waste (Zero Waste Management), landfilled waste and hazardous waste.
The project is on Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis with 25 years of project period. The Joint Venture invest approximately THB100 million as initial investment.
