The villager said the information provided in the 1st public hearing on July 17th, 2023, explained the advantages of the industrial waste-to-energy (WtE) power plants, but the villagers are still concerned, especially about the pollution caused by its operation, and they think this project does not make a benefit the people in the area. Technology to control pollution covering soil, water and air including PM 2.5, dioxins, heavy metals, and oxides of nitrogen will be employed, measures to mitigate impacts during construction and operation would be taken, the building is designed to fully cover the waste and a panel to display values for monitoring parameters will be installed in front of the factory.
