Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE), Ministry of Energy, together with Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU), held a training workshop to enhance knowledge & skill for solar rooftop system for officers from educational institute & public health organization on 11-12 October 2023, and approx., 80 persons participated in the workshop.
Renewable energy, especially a solar panel installed on the roof (Solar PV Rooftop) has attracted attention recent years, as PV power generation is free from air pollution & greenhouse gas emission and low environmental impact compared to fossil fuelsand therefore Thai government promotes & supports for use of renewable energy to reduce fossil fuels dependency through introduction of incentive schemes and policies.
DEDE has assigned Research and Service on Energy Center (RSEC), Ubon Ratchathani University, to hold a knowledge-sharing workshops to promote policies related to solar energy as well as improve knowledge & technical skills for officers from educational institutes & public health organizations in every region. UBU will organize the workshops for 9 groups, and expects over 450 persons would be participated in.
