Department of Industrial Works (DIW) filed a petition to the Rayong Provincial Court to manage industrial waste and hazardous substance within Win Process Co., Ltd. after DIW found that the company did not complete the task and many fire case was occurred at the site.
On May 7, 2024, DIW filed a petition to the Rayong Provincial Court requesting permission to manage industrial waste and hazardous substances remaining at Win Process Co., Ltd. The Rayong Provincial Court approved DIW’s petition and ordered the DIW and the Industrial Office of Rayong Province to handle the case with a budget of THB5 million, allocated by the Court, which the company deposit at the court as a cost of the operation.
Despite of the sentence of the Rayong Provincial Court by which the company should dispose all industrial waste and hazardous substance within factory, the company has not yet complied with the order.
The Company contracted with S.K. Inter Chemical Co., Ltd. for Waste Management but expired in December 2023. and there was outbreak of fire reported at the factory.
