Department of Industrial works (DIW) inspected Professional Waste Technology (1999) PCL., which engage in business of central waste treatment, sorting and landfilling of waste or unused materials. The factory located in Non Makkeng Subdistrict, Watthana Nakhon District, Sa kaeo Province, with an area of 600 rai. There are 8 landfills in total, consist of 4 sanitary landfills and 4 secured landfills.
Professional Waste Technology (1999) PCL., is one of three factories in Thailand that has hazardous industrial waste landfills where DIW keep monitoring annually.
Director General revealed that officials of the DIW have been ordered to inspect the problem of pollution from landfills in all areas, as illegal dump of industrial waste were reported in many areas including those reported by resident, and DIW inspected hazardous industrial waste landfills in many areas, such as Saraburi, Ratchaburi, Sa Kaeo, Chonburi and Phetchabun.
