Updated: Aug 3, 2023

Bangkok Metropolitan Administrative Organization (BMA) in cooperation with a private company has set up 52 Electronic Waste (E-WASTE) bins at the Bangkok City Halls (the Giant Swing & Din Daeng) and 50 district offices across Bangkok. The private company will manage E-Waste, including dispose of e-waste properly. Users of the E-WASTE bins can collect points and redeem rewards in “ECOLIFE” application.

Users can dispose Lithium batteries used in mobile phones, laptops, refrigerators, computers, electric cars and printer ink cartridges at the points, while will not be able to dispose older monitors or CRT monitors with iodine tubes, alkaline batteries and light bulbs.
