On February 24, Mr. Siriphan Srikongplee, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Local Administration, Ministry of Interior (DLA) and Mr. Kiyoshi Ishizu, Senior Environment Specialist, Office for Promotion of Sound Material-Cycle Society, Environmental Regeneration and Material Cycles Bureau, the Ministry of the Environment, Japan (MOEJ) honored to preside over the 2nd General Meeting for the Project on Strengthen Municipal Solid Waste Management in Thailand 2022 under Bilateral Cooperation between DLA and MOEJ.
Secretariat for the Project presented the past activities and the parties discussed further cooperation under the Project between DLA and MOEJ, and DLA updated the situation of municipal solid waste management in Thailand. Both parties agreed to continue this cooperation in accordance with the Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) in solid waste management which jointly signed on August 19, 2022.
