The Project to Study on possible countermeasures against Air Pollution caused by PM2.5 in Chiang Mai is a project launched by Provincial Office of Natural Resources & Environment Chiang Mai province and City of Kitakyushu under the city-city cooperation. 

     The City of Kitakyushu, with purpose of finding out possible mitigation solution for P.M 2.5, introduced Eco-Friendly Soap based Class A foam agent to the responsible government agencies in 2021 and conducted demonstration and market survey for the product. 

     In 2023, City of Kitakyushu conducted study on development a forest and forest fire management system for Chiang Mai province through questionnaires survey and site visits of the target area. City of Kitakyushu presents that the system, consists of  forest map, water reservoir, satellite data of GISDA together with data on forest fire to be collected by drone, and enable the government authority to control forest fire.  

     EXRI ASIA has been supporting the City of Kitakyushu and Provincial Office of Natural Resources & Environment Chiang Mai province for project implementation since 2021
